Student Feature: Seniors

For a lot of seniors, this week is the last as they head out into doing their own thing. This is also a very stressful time for seniors since they have so many choices coming up that they have to make. This year, students are spreading out all over the nation, more than ever before. We spoke to one student, Sarah Navid, about her experience here at Northland and about her plans for the future.

“I’m so glad I came to a school that cares about its students and that truly helped me prepare for my college journey. Northland is a safe place that has helped me in so many aspects of life. In the fall, I’ll be attending the University of Miami and I couldn’t be more excited. The counselors here helped me fill out all of my college applications and guarantee that everything was in place so that I’d have higher chances of getting into different schools. I ended up choosing Miami because after visiting, I felt at home and I know it’s a place where I can thrive and study to become a biomedical engineer”.

Students like Sarah have mixed feelings about leaving high school. It was a good time in everyone’s lives but they’re also ready to set out into their own adventure. We wish our seniors luck into the next chapter.
