Our girls varsity basketball team is starting off the season with great wins, especially last night. The lady cougars won 37-35 agaisnt Providence Classical, but it took a lot. I would definitely say the MVP of the game was junior Meg Hamilton.

“I feel great about winning the game yesterday, I liked everyone’s energy and excitment after we all walked out after our game,” says Hamilton, “I was very nervous while I was shooting my three free throws because it all depened on me.” But she did it. She made all three free throws and was able to pull out a a win for the lady cougars!

Although they played a terrific game Hamilton says, “We could’ve played better.” Make sure you come out and support the girls basketball team next tuesday as they take on Houston Christian at 5:30.
