Soccer is harder to play than Basketball

Soccer is a harder to play than basketball and here are the reasons…

Soccer is so much harder to prepare and play than basketball. Soccer players have to run way more than basketball players do. According to runners world.com Soccer player run around 7 miles per game compared to basketball’s 2.5 miles per game.

Messi and Lebron (Sportingnews.com)Normally when you play basketball, you play inside with nice air conditioning. While in Soccer you play outside, no matter the weather you will probably still play. It’s easier for basketball players to make shots, but for soccer it is a lot harder for them to score. Soccer Games are also a lot longer than Basketball games, nearly double basketball games. Soccer is a lot more physical than Basketball is.

Outside Soccer Field (https://needhamsoccer.com/campandclinics/summer-clinics/)

In Basketball you have to the physical demands like height to be looked at or be good to go Pro. Though in soccer you can be any height to be really good. Making it more accessible for people.

This is not meant to slander basketball, but to put more respect on Soccer. I like both sports and they very unique to each other.

Hi, I'm Isaac Banos, I was born in Houston. I started going to Northland when I was little, but after 3rd grade, I moved to Chicago. I came back in 7th grade. I love to play Soccer as well. Currently I am in 9th Grade at NCS, I also currently play soccer in MLS Next for Houston Rangers. I am doing Cross Country and soccer at Northland, and maybe Track. I also recently just came off playing in USYS National Championships, which my old team placed top 3 in the Nation. I hope to become a professional Soccer Player. If I don't become a Pro, I would like to be a sports journalist hence why I am taking Journalism in High school. I hope to Graduate at Northland Christian in 2027.
