Seniors Had Their Seasons In the Sun

seasons in the sun by westlife

Looking through the years that seniors have experienced at Northland, and the memorable times they spent together with joy, calmness, enthusiasm, confusions, or sadness, overall the high school life is merely the time they spent with friends. A lot of the students have attended Northland since elementary years, and now they cannot wait to head off high school and start a brand new life.

I interviewed my friend Sophie Shao, a senior. She said that the most part of high school life she will miss is friends. Certainly, spending a total of four years with friends is the most significant and sweetest experience of life. According to another senior, Mike Parmely, he will miss the time he spent with his friends in football team. “I really miss the time when I was in football team.” Mike said. “Because when I attend collage, I cannot participate in then football team anymore. I miss the time I spent with my couches and teammates. It is an precious experience which I can never have again after I graduate.”

This semester is almost over. Now let us wish our senior friends the best wishes and the brand new exciting life ahead. This reminds me of the lyric

“We had joy, we had fun,
We had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song
Like the seasons have all gone”
