Former President George H.W Bush will be missed!
As everyone knows, recently, President George H. W. Bush has sadly passed away. President Bush died on November 30, 2018. In videos and in posts, people have been going around creating signs saying that he will be missed. One of the signs that were created stated “Houston will miss you,” with an American flag and with flowers.
On CNN Politics, Bush will be having two funerals. On Wednesday, December 5th, he will have his first funeral at National Cathedral. After the first one, President Bush will be taken back to Texas. The next day, President Bush second funeral is scheduled that Thursday, December 6th. It will be located at the George Bush Presidental Library and Museum. George P. Bush says,” His grandfather’s funeral is an opportunity to put aside political differences.”
I interviewed Principle Eric Wietstruck to see what was his favorite memory of him.
Mr. Wietsruck said,” As a band student at Eisenhower High School I had the opportunity to play at the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston where George H.W. Bush was nominated to be president. As a high school student, I was impressed with his optimism and positivity for our country.”
