March Madness is often one of the best time of the year for some people. It is the time when they can make brackets and hope for an upset. This year March has been crazy. Records have been broken, and players have stepped up to advance their team to the next round. The Sweet Sixteen has just started, and more and more teams are being eliminated, and they are not the ones people would expect. This year the South and West regions had their #1 seeds eliminated in the Round of 32.

Certain teams have run away with people’s hearts this year. Teams such as UMBC and Loyola Chicago. UMBC was a #16 seed, and beat the top seed in the tournament, Virginia. Loyola Chicago has just punched their ticket to the Elite Eight. Texas A&M beat the reigning national champions in the round of 32. The best team in the tournament from the looks of it would be Kansas. They are a #1 seed, and are looking good. They play the Sweet Sixteen tonight against the 5th seeded Clemson Tigers. Another really good team is Duke. They face Syracuse in the Sweet Sixteen. At this point it is anybody’s game.

Whether you are a 1 seed or a 16 seed this year has proven that nothing is impossible. This year’s NCAA tournament has been one of the most bizarre and exciting. It has been one of my favorite tournaments in my life because it is so exciting, and the teams that you think would win don’t.
